Looking across the fields and forest to the Blue Ridge Mountains and at center a silo pokes up from a farm surrounded by forest and at top right, on the highest peak is a radar station on Apple Orchard Mountain. The radar station was built back in WWII and was military, now it is used by commercial airlines as a connecting point between the east and west coast of the US.
