Meem’s Bottom Covered Bridge
Meem’s Bottom covered bridge is the longest covered bridge remaining in Virginia, 200 ft. in a single span. A burr arch construction built in 1892. It is also the only covered bridge in Virginia still open to vehicular traffic.

The Sinking Creek Bridge (also known as Clover Hollow Bridge), a 70-foot span currently maintained by Giles County, was left in place for the property owner when a new bridge was built in 1949. Sinking Creek Covered Bridge circa 1916 with modified Howe trusses.
