First Snow & Snow-blind

First Snow

I was on the Blue Ridge Parkway early yesterday morning when it began snowing. It was light at this time so I used the flash to illuminate the rather sparse but large snowflakes.

Have a beautiful day everyone!!!

It’s snowing here yesterday in the Blue Ridge Mountains and for a time in the morning it was snowing so hard it was blinding. This is the woods about 75 feet from my back door and you can barely make out a tree or two.

  1. I just don’t have the chance to experience the winter as I am staying in a tropical country. I am always admire the scenery of mountains covered by white snow, falling leaves etc.

  2. Both photographs are gorgeous. The first is so peaceful, like the calm before the storm. The second is one of those that makes you happy you have a shelter to be inside of on a day like that!
