So tempting, D L. The landscapes you work with daily are so beautiful. Years ago I fell in love with the Smokies and have always wanted to see Trillium Gap again.

I will be doing 1 on 1 tours and group tours. Also either I can design the tour or the client can. Next spring I will be setting up one day tours to specific locations as well.
Trillium Gap is beautiful but you should see Thunder Ridge where the Appalachian trail runs through!

This is a year behind, but I second the Thunder Ridge recommendation. All the trilliums adjacent to the Appalachian Trail are stunning– and if you keep going southbound on the A.T., you’ll get to see a huge repository of Mayapples as well– they carpet a big section of forest right off the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Are you doing photo tours these days? My daughter will be going to school in Baltimore in the fall. I’m thinking maybe I can book a tour with you during one of my journeys to visit her. Maybe. Let me know if you’re still doing tours.
