I prefer not to be me
I prefer not to be anyone else either
I am from where the wind blows
Yet I always end up here
I am between spirituality and reality
I breathe but I do not live
I prefer not to be

This is a stained glass window high up on the side of a late 19th century church in Lynchburg, Virginia…with a southern exposure it has been somewhat bleached by year-round pounding of the sun. To my eyes it remains a beautiful window!
