I saw your blog about the Carolina Wren and had to send a note to tell you we have a Carolina Wren that has buildt a nest in our garage. She laid 5 eggs about a month ago and they still have not hatched. She just sits on it most of the time and flies out the open window to go eat. We are not sure what to do about her and think maybe she will eventually give up and move on. It is way past the time for the eggs to hatch.
What would you do?

Hi Melinda, I think you’re right. If it is not to much trouble for you I would just let her be and she will move on when she is ready…that;s what i would do.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you do so again!
