I take a lot of photos of the James River too down here in Richmond. I really like some things about them. But I always have problems figuring out exactly where the horizontal axis is located. The waterline is always going up or going down. Same deal with the tree line unless I stand on one shore and point the camera directly ahead.
But it is all worth it. It’s a beautiful river and I enjoy so much the things you do with it.
